You can delete your OBRAZ account at any time, in the OBRAZ app or by email. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.
Delete your account in the OBRAZ app
- Open the OBRAZ app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Me (your profile) and tap Settings (the gear icon).
- Tap Privacy.
- Under Data & account, tap Delete account.
- Tap Schedule deletion to confirm.
Your account is then scheduled for deletion and is permanently deleted after 30 days. We email you a reminder 3 days before. Until then you can change your mind: go to Settings → Privacy and tap Cancel.
Can’t use the app? Request deletion by email
Send an email to team@obraz.digital from the email address of your OBRAZ account, with the subject “Delete my OBRAZ account”. If you have a profile link or username, include it. To protect your account we may ask you to confirm the request. We delete the account within 30 days of your confirmation and reply when it is done.
Subscriptions are not cancelled automatically. Please note that deleting your account does not automatically cancel paid subscriptions. You must cancel your subscription separately through the App Store or Google Play.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently delete:
- your account and profile: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, bio, birthday, gender, social links and custom profile URL;
- your wardrobe: every piece and its photos;
- your looks, collections, planner entries, custom backgrounds and reference images;
- your likes, the people you follow and your followers, and your access to collections shared with you;
- your notifications and profile statistics;
- your sign-in sessions on every device.
Deleted photos are removed from our storage within about a day. Your deleted account and its content cannot be restored.
What is kept, and for how long
- Pieces copied by other users. If other people copied pieces from your wardrobe into their own, those copies stay in their wardrobes.
- Subscription and purchase records (store, transaction ID, plan and dates; we never receive your card details) are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, generally 5 years. Apple and Google keep your purchase history under their own policies.
- Backups. Deleted data can remain in our database backups until they are replaced in the normal backup cycle. Daily backups are kept for 20 days.
- Technical and security logs, such as crash reports and server logs, are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.
- Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot be linked to you.
We may also keep information where the law requires it or to resolve disputes, as described in section 21 of our Privacy Policy.
